Symbios works with a nationally recognized consultant in SBIR and other proposal writing and grants and contracts management services. Symbios also has ongoing relationships with academic experts at Colorado State University and the University of Colorado, with researchers at collaborating R&D companies such as Aerophase, Inc., with researchers at national labs including the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and Sandia National Laboratory, and with the Colorado Center for Biorefining and Biofuels (C2B2), who act as consulting researchers and advisors to Symbios. Symbios also has relationships with leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors in the biomass to energy space and other commercialization partners. In addition, Symbios has built a Science Advisory Board which includes top academic and industry experts that will help guide Symbios' research, project development, and intellectual property development pursuits.
